Course Overview

The Cavern course is the first level of cave courses. The main focus of this course is teaching the skills and techniques required to safely penetrate caverns within limited depth and in the limits of light penetration.

Pre-requisites

Open Water Scuba Instructor (One Star Instructor) certified.
Nitrox Instructor certified.
Full Cave diver certified.
100 logged cave dives.

Prerogatives

After completing the Cavern instructor course, the successful candidate can engage in teaching cavern penetration respecting the 60m linear rule and staying within the limits of light penetration.

Combination courses

You can combine the Cavern instructor course with:

Introductory Cave Instructor course.
Advanced Nitrox Instructor course.
