Course Overview

The Closed-Circuit Rebreather Air Diluent (MOD1) instructor course is the first step in teaching the exclusive world of closed-circuit rebreathers. The main focus of this course is teaching the benefits and hazards of closed rebreathers and understanding the concept of a constant Po2.

Pre-requisites

Closed Circuit Rebreather Air Diluent (MOD1) certified.
Advanced Nitrox instructor certified.
250 logged dives of which 100 on the specific unit.

Prerogatives

After completing the Closed-Circuit rebreather Air Diluent (MOD1) instructor course, the successful candidate can engage in teaching non decompression diving using air as a diluent on a specific closed-circuit rebreathers to a maximum depth of 30msw.
