DSAT Tec Trimix Diver Course

Course Overview

The DSAT Tec Trimix Diver course is intended for technical divers certified as DSAT Tec 50 Divers or Tec Trimix 65 (or qualifying certification from another training organization). The course extends their depth range capabilities by training them in the use of trimix (helium, oxygen and nitrogen). The Tec Trimix course qualifies the successfull student to dive down to 75msw using trimix, air or nitrox up to 100% of oxygen content.

Pre-requistes

Minimum age of 18.
Rescue Diver certified.
Tec 50 Diver or Tec Trimix 65 certifed.
Proof of 150 logged dives.

The Tec Trimix diver course covers:

Trimix diving depth ranges
Exposure planning
Selecting a mix
Argon inflation systems
Handling three or four decompression cylinders
Decompression models
Emergency procedures
Face masks and multi-gas computers

Course duration and number of dives

The Tec Trimix diver course is a 3 day course and 4 dives are required.

Equipment requirement

The Tec Trimix Diver course uses technical gear configuration. All students must own or purchase a spool, SMB and wrist slate. We supply the double tanks, decompression tanks and nitrox/oxygen mixes, the decompression regulators and the oxygen and helium analyser.
