Course Overview
The Extended Range course used to be called Technical Diver course. The main focus of this course is deep air diving, narcosis management and advanced dive planning. At this level the student is rigged with a full technical configuration and carries at least 2 decompression gases.
Pre-requisites
Advanced Nitrox certified.
Decompression Procedures certified.
100 logged dives.
Prerogatives
After completing the Extended Range course, the successful candidate can engage in decompression diving to a maximum depth of 55msw on air and use multiple Nitrox gas switches (up to pure oxygen) to carry out the decompression schedule.
Combination courses
You can combine the Extended Range course with:
- Decompression Procedures course.
- Advanced Wreck course.
- Normoxic Trimix course.

Once certified as a Decompression Procedures Diver you can enroll in:- Advanced Wreck diver.
