Nitrox Diver Course Details

Course Overview

The Nitrox Diver is one of the specialty courses. This course is focused on the use of oxygen rich mixes called Nitrox and limits the oxygen content to 40 percent.

Pre-requisites

Open Water Diver (Level 1 Diver) certified.

Prerogatives

After completing the Nitrox Diver course, the candidate can engage in Nitrox diving using mixes no richer than 40% oxygen.

Combination courses

Advanced Nitrox Diver course.
Semi-Closed Rebreather course.
Closed Circuit Rebreather MOD1 course.

What can I do next?

After the Nitrox diver course you can enroll in:

1. Higher level education (Level 2 or Level 3)
2. Other specialty courses (Semi-Closed or Closed Circuit Rebreathers)
3. Technical diving.
