Course Overview

The Nitrox Instructor is the fundamental requisite for teaching technical diving. This course is focused on the use of oxygen rich mixes called Nitrox and limits the oxygen content to 40 percent.

Pre-requisites

Open Water Scuba Instructor (1 Star Instructor) certified.
Nitrox diver certified.
Proof of 10 logged Nitrox dives.

Prerogatives

After completing the Nitrox Instructor course, the candidate can engage in teaching Nitrox diving using mixes no richer than 40% oxygen.

Combination courses

Advanced Nitrox Instructor course.
Semi-Closed Instructor course.
