Course Overview
The Normoxic Trimix course is the first step in mixed gas diving or diving using Helium based gas mixtures. The main focus of this course is physics and physiology of Helium based breathing mixes and Helium based dive planning. The normoxic trimix course covers mixes that must sustain life from surface to maximum depth and therefore not require the need for a travel mix.
Pre-requisites
Advanced Nitrox certified.
Decompression Procedures certified.
100 logged dives.
Prerogatives
After completing the Normoxic Trimix course, the successful candidate can engage in mixed gas diving using normoxic oxygen contents and use multiple Nitrox gas switches (up to pure oxygen) to carry out the decompression schedule.
Combination courses
You can combine the Normoxic Trimix course with:
- Decompression Procedures course.
- Extended Range course .
- Hypoxic Trimix course.
