| PSAI | |||||||||||||||||
Founded in 1960 by Hal Watts, PSA is on of the oldest agencies in the dive industry, and certainly the oldest technical diving agency. Hal Watts and PSA's fame grew when Hal broke the very controversial world record of deep diving on air. Recently, PSA has made some major organisational changes. Due to unsolvable issues within another Technical agency, most of the top names within that agency has left and crossed over to PSA, resulting in a fast growth that has raised PSA to the the same level as IANTD, TDI and other major technical agency's.One of the changes was that PSA became a worldwide organisation and was renamed PSA International or PSAI. PSAI has a strong commitment to quality education, through proper dive training, stress management and academics. PSAI offers a full range of diver training including Tec Diving, Rebreathers and Overhead Environments. ![]() |

| This course is designed for those divers who wish to utilize enriched air (Nitrox) at oxygen concentrations up to and including 100% oxygen. Program Description
| Advanced Nitrox Decompression Diver | |||||||||||||||||
| This course is designed for those divers who wish to utilize enriched air (Nitrox) at oxygen concentrations up to 100% in their diving activities to include stage decompression procedures. Program Description
| Extended Range Diver | |||||||||||||||||
| This course is designed for those divers who wish to conduct dives beyond 45 meters (150 feet) but not exceeding 60 meters (200 feet) using staged decompression techniques for both depth and extended bottom times. This course uses air as a primary back gas and nitrox(s) as decompression gas(es). Program Description
| Wreck Diver | |||||||||||||||||
| This course is designed for those who wish to penetrate wrecks using proper techniques. These penetrations are not simple swim throughs, but rather multi level or multi turn dives. This course is NOT a "progressive penetration" memorization technique course. The diver shall not dive deeper than they have been previously certified. The maximum depth of this course shall be limited to 45 meters (150 feet). Program Description
| Trimix 1 Diver | |||||||||||||||||
| These courses are designed for those divers who wish to conduct dives using helium based bottom mixes with associated advanced staged decompression techniques. The PSA Mixed Gas Diver program is conducted in three phases leading up to dives depths of up to 100 meters (300 feet). Program Description
| Trimix 2 Diver | |||||||||||||||||
| These courses are the direct continuation of the Trimix 1 Diver course. They push the limits of normoxic helium based mixes for dives to a maximum depth of 75 meters (250fsw) requiring stage decompression and utilizing EANx mixtures and/or oxygen during decompression. Program Description
| Trimix 3 Diver | |||||||||||||||||
| These courses are designed for those divers who wish to do trimix exploration dives. They adress the usage of hypoxic helium mixes for dives to a maximum depth of 100 meters 330 fsw requiring stage decompression and utilizing EANx mixtures and/or oxygen during decompression. Program Description
| Semi-closed Circuit Rebreather Diver | |||||||||||||||||
| This course is designed for those divers who wish to utilize enriched air (Nitrox) at oxygen concentrations up to and including 60% in a Semi Closed Circuit Rebreather during their diving activities. Program Description
| Closed Circuit Rebreather Diver | |||||||||||||||||
| This course is designed for those divers who wish to use a Closed-circuit UBA using an air diluant during their diving activities. Program Description
| Mixed Gas Closed Circuit Rebreather Diver | |||||||||||||||||
| This course is designed for those divers who wish to use a Closed-circuit UBA with a helium added diluent during their diving activities. Like the Mixed gas Diver course, this course consists of three phases with a minimum of two dives required for certification to 60 meters (200 fsw). An additional two dives required for certification to 75 meters (250 fsw). Finally a third set of two dives are required for certification to 100 meters (330 fsw). Program Description
| Nitrox Gas Blender | |||||||||||||||||
| This course is to provide the student with the skills and knowledge needed to safely handle high pressure gases and prepare EANx breathing gas mixtures for use by divers. Program Description
| Self-Sufficiency/Solo Diver | |||||||||||||||||
| This course is designed to train divers in the benefits, hazards, and proper procedures for diving without a buddy. Uppon successfull completion of this course, may effectively perform self-suffienciency/solo diving skills. Program Description
