Course Overview

This course provides training and experience required to compentently utilize air for dives up to 55msw that requires stage decompression, utilizing Nitrox mixtures or oxygen during decompression. The objective of this course is to train divers in proper techniques, and hazards of deep air diving.

Pre-requisites

Minimum age of 18.
Advanced Nitrox certified.
Decompression Procedures certified.
Proof of 100 logged dives out of which 25 must be deeper than 30msw.

The Extended Range diver course is a 4 day course and 6 dives are required.

Equipment requirement

The Extended Range Diver course has uses a technical gear configuration. All students must own or purchase a spool, SMB and wrist slate. We supply the double tanks, decompression tanks and mixes, the decompression regulator and the oxygen analyser.
