Course Overview
This course provides training and experience required to compentently teach air for dives up to 55msw that requires stage decompression, utilizing Nitrox mixtures or oxygen during decompression. The objective of this course is to train instructors in proper techniques, and hazards of deep air diving.
Pre-requistes
Minimum age of 21.
Advanced Nitrox Instructor certified.
Decompression Procedures Instructor certified.
Extended Range diver certified.
Proof of 250 logged dives out of which 25 must be extended range dives.
Proof of 10 student certification at Advanced Nitrox and 5 minimum at Decompression Procedures level.

Equipment requirement
The Extended Range Instructor course has some specific equipment required for this course on top of the standard gear. All students must own or purchase a spool, SMB and wrist slate. The oxygen clean regulators can be purchased or rented. We supply the double tank, decompression tanks, mixes and the oxygen analyser.
