Course Overview
This course is the third and last stage in the training of cave instructor development program. Advanced cave diving planning, the practical execution of different types of cave systems and scenarios divers encounter are presented. This cave diving course is not intended to prepare instructors for evaluating all facets of cave diving. The objective of this course is to expand and critique previous skills accomplished in the Cavern and Introductory cave diving instructor programs. Emphasis is placed upon dive planning and skill perfection trough actual cave penetration.
Pre-requistes
Minumum age of 21.
Open water Scuba instructor certified.
Introductory Cave instructor certified.
Proof of 200 logged full cave dives.
Proof of certifying 3 TDI Introductory Cave courses and assisting 1 full TDI Full Cave course.
Provide recomendation of a TDI Cave Instructor.

The Full Cave instructor course covers:

- Gas matching procedures and management to include dissimilar volume
- Psychological considerations
- Equipment consideration
- Communication
- Swimming techniques
- Physiology
- Cave environment
- Cave conservation
- Problem solving
- Accident analysis
- Review of dive tables and decompression theory
- Cavern diving etiquette

The Full Cave instructor course is a 4 day course and 8 dives are required.

Equipment requirement
The Full Cave instructor course has some specific equipment requirement more than your standard technical dive gear. The full cave diver program requires 3 lights, 2 spools and main line, wet notes, 2 cutting devices and line arrow and cookies.
