Course Overview

This course is an introduction to the basic principles of cave diving utilizing a single primary guide line. Introductory cave diving is the second level in the development of safe techniques for cave diving, directly building upon the cavern diver course. This introduction to cave diving is not intended to train instructors forall facets of cave diving. The objective of this course is the perfection of skills taught in the cavern diving program, in the adition to the adoption of additional techniques and procedures required for elementary cave dives.

Pre-requistes

Minumum age of 21.
Open water Scuba instructor certified.
Cavern instructor certified.
Proof of 150 logged full cave dives.
Proof of certifying 3 TDI Cavern courses and assisting 1 full TDI Intro to Cave course.
Provide recomendation of a TDI Cave Instructor.

Equipment requirement

The Introductory Cave Instructor course has some specific equipment requirement more than your standard recreational dive gear. The introductory cave instructor program requires 3 lights, spools and main line, wet notes, cutting devices and line arrow.
