Course Overview

This program is designed to develop the skills and knowledge necessary for an individual to lead certified technical divers in the open water environment.

Pre-requistes

Minimum age of 18.
SDI Divemaster certified.
First Aid and CPR certified.
Proof of 50 logged dives.
Hold a technical diver certification.

The Technical Divemaster course covers:

Equipment
Physics & Physiology
Medical problems related to diving
Dive tables & dive computers
Technical dive planning
Underwater and surface communication
Diver assistance
Accident management

Course duration and number of dives

The Technical Divemaster course is a 3 day course and 4 dives are required.

Equipment requirement

The Technical Divemaster course has some specific equipment required for this course on top of the standard gear. All students must own or purchase a spool, SMB and wrist slate. We supply the nitrox tanks and mixes, the oxygen clean regulator and the oxygen analyser.
