CRUISES - ITINERARY Home
Taking a cruise on the Andaman sea opens two option that you can combine;

The Northern cruise became famous when in the 70's, when Jacques Cousteau shot an underwater film in the Similan National Park. These islands are stunning and are blessed with superb diving.

The Southern cruise although less popular definitely hosts the best diving in Thailand. This is a world class dive location and many large pelagic's can be spotted here.

The combo is a safari that takes you to both the northern and the southern reefs.

The Similan Archipelago composed of nine small islands is rated in the top ten of world class diving sites. Huge granite boulders overgrown with coral and algae lie jumbled together all the way from the surface to the sea bed, providing interesting swim through's, canyons, archways and caverns. The Similan are blessed with the richest variety and abundance of reef fish in Thai waters, only matched by Hin Deang and Hin Muang. Large pelagic's, such as mantas and whale sharks, visit the area on a regular basis (particularly in late March and early April during the planktonic blooms).

Moving north from the Similan are found the Islands of Bon and Tachai, probably the best dives around and finally the Archipelago of Surin Islands.

Southern Cruise - Hin Deang/Muang - Ko Ha Yai - Phi Phi

Hin Deang and Hin Muang lie 40 miles South of Phuket. Both dive sites are separated by only 100m and are quoted as some of the best diving in Thai waters. It's recommended that the divers who visit Hin Deang and Hin Muang are experienced divers, as they can be subject to current and have drop offs down to 70m. On the way back to Phuket, their are some fine dive sites in Ko Rok Nok and Ko Ha Yai. Finally the last dives will take place in Phi Phi Islands.
