Koh Doc May 4-36m

This small, jungle topped island lies halfway between Shark Point and Phuket. It provides some of the best wall diving in the area with sea fans, soft corals and colorful sea life decorating its underwater cliffs. Leopard sharks and small white tips are often seen swimming by or lying on the sandy bottom, and more recently bamboo sharks are regularly seen resting near the entry of the caves. This is also a good place to look for smaller sea life such as sea horses, ghost pipefish and nudibranches.

Shark Point (Hin Mu Sang) 4-22m

Shark Point, a small rock outcropping about 25km East of Phuket, is a famous marine sanctuary due to its tremendous variety of marine life. In fact Shark Point is composed of three pinnacles oriented North-South. All three can be visited in one dive. Particular attractions you should look out for are the colorful soft corals and sea fans decorating the limestone pinnacles, the great range of tropical fish and the famous leopard sharks, found on the sandy bottom. On the South East part of the first pinnacle you may also see tigertail seahorses amongst the soft corals. Closer to the surface, a nice variety of soft corals and anemones decorate the rock.

Anemone Reef 5-25m

This submerged reef located close to Shark Point is similar in character and you will be amazed at its extensive fields of sea anemones. Leopard sharks and stingrays are also to be found together with some massive schools of smaller fish and some larger pelagic's such as tunas, jacks and barracudas.

King Cruiser 12-33m

In May 1997, King Cruiser, an 85m catamaran passenger ferry, strayed of course and hit Anemone Reef ripping one of her twin hulls open sinking within an hour (no casualties) some 500m East of Anemone Reef. With its multiple decks, great open passages and depths between 12 and 33 meters, the King Cruiser is an ideal wreck dive site for all divers and particularly adapted to Nitrox mixes. All sorts of marine life can be spotted here, including lionfish, moray eels and the occasional turtle, nurse shark, leopard shark and bamboo shark.
