Equipment dedicated day... We spent most of our time fitting the double tanks with the bands and adjusting back plates and wings. We also prepared our decompression tanks and connected the extra filter system needed to blend the required gas mixtures. The decompression station was oxygen cleaned and fitted with the oxygen regulators just received from Coltri Sub.

We also managed to pick up some of the gases needed for the expedition. We have ordered 20 G size tanks of helium and 20 G size of oxygen. All together we will have 400'000 litres of breatheable gas without taking into consideration the air that will be pumped through our Coltri Sub compressor.

Today we visited the harbour-master who initially gave us the cold shoulder due to the risks associated with this kind of diving, but we finally got to chat and once the whole set up was understood by both parties, we settled for a glass of local red wine.
