There are many excursions that can be organized from Phuket. In it's surrounding can be found many small islands with breathtaking beaches and pristine turquoise water. Some of these islands have a few bungalows allowing a few privileged tourist to enjoy an incredible sunset in paradise. On others can be found local fisherman villages such as Phang Na, also famous after the James Bond film was shot here.

Phuket also has large attraction centers such as Fantasea. This is truly a children's paradise, but the parents will not be left aside. Thai culture with dances, shows, singing and Thai architecture. This is a full day visit.

Not far from the beaches lies Phuket Town, that has recently been upgraded to Phuket City. This is definitely a very good shopping place. Whatever can be bought in Phuket will be found in Phuket Town.
