Four candidates signed in for the
November NAUI ITC/ICC combined session. After passing the entry
exams, the candidates started the loaded program of the Instructor
Training Course including academic presentations, confined water
work and finally open water work. Our dive site was Hermance well
known by the local divers. Despite a water of less than 10° Celsius
and a very low visibility, all candidates passed their final exams
(academic, physical, rescue and teaching).
All candidates finished their course
by following a Nitrox course. Our Nitrox dives were done on the
wreckage of the France, in the
lake of Annecy. Again cold water but this time at least the visibility
was good. After a 20min dive at 40m, only a 3min safety stop at
5m and off we go for a warm tea in the local café. Back in Geneva
off we go for a cheese fondu at one of our local best fondu restaurant,
the Café du Marché. |
