PAST EVENTS-SALON DE LA PLONGEE PARIS 2001 Home

The 6th edition of the "Salon de plongée sous-marine" was held in Paris starting on the 2nd to the 4th of March 2001.

The show was very clearly toned by the rebreather market. Draeger's booth was overwhelming this year and Ocean Zone Divers was their to present the different rebreathers and reply to the many questions. The visitors saw for the first time the now famous Dolphin Black, last born of the Draeger Range. For those who know the Dolphin, the black version has minor modifications to it, however all welcomed.

This show was also the time to present the results of the Andrea Doria Xpedition that was run in June 2000 and announced for the first time at the AquaBoulevard show 2000. 

Many talks where held and one to be noticed was the entry of PADI on the Tec market with its Tec Rec programs run by DSAT.

- Canister can contain 2,7 Kg of DiveSorbe allowing now 4 hours of scrubbing time
