The visitors where for a vast majority
divers. Mainly Swiss, but also French and a few Italians. Swiss
divers are in general very good divers, the conditions of diving
are particularly difficult in the lake's; the water is cold and
the visibility is poor. Their abilities provided very interesting
exchanges with the exhibitor.
The Geneva University presented a few items brought
back up from the Leman Lake. But the attraction was the opportunity
for children to discover Scuba Diving in a pool equipped with portholes.
As for the adults, wine was provided by "La Fédération Suisse
de Sports Sous marins" (FSSS), very active with 12000 members.
The conviviality was also part of the show during the opening cocktail.
This successful party gathered exhibitors and visitors round a sumptuous
buffet given by the organisers. The show was a success, exhibitors
and the public made a date for next year.
