Ocean Zone Divers – Bang Tao

Our Bang Tao facility is located on the west side of Phuket, just north of the infamous Patong beach and this center has its own private pier on the beach side!!! Opened in 2009, Ocean Zone Divers in Bang Tao is connected to the Kris Resort, a five star luxury hotel. We offer technical diving courses ranging from the basic nitrox course to extended range as well as semi-closed rebreather courses. Bang Tao is a perfect place to learn to dive, the pool is within the dive center and the beach is just across the street and we offer the full range of diving courses from discovery programs to instructor programs.

Multi Agency Instructor Training programs

Ocean Zone Divers runs here a new curriculum for professionals wishing to increase there diving knowledge and become a multi agency dive instructor. These new programs while be implemented as soon as we can and we will be offering ratings through SDI, PADI, CMAS to start and then increase the options by adding NAUI and SSI.

The Dive Centre

Ocean Zone Divers – Bang Tao is a mixed recreational/technical dive center. We stock oxygen necessary to blend any type of nitrox mix required for technical diving, nitrox diving or rebreather diving. Our station is fitted with a compressor using continuous blending and partial pressure blending.

The Dive Gear

Ocean Zone Divers – bang Tao is equipped with rental sets of technical gear. We carry 15L dual DIN outlets, aluminum double S80’s and aluminum S80’s and S40’s tanks for decompression. Our rebreather tanks range from 2L to 5L. All our doubles are assembled with stainless steel heavy duty bands and equipped with DIN valves and isolation manifolds.

Pier – Pool - Beach

This facility uses the the private Pier (1min from the shop) that deserves the most the famous Phuket dive sites as well as stunning local diving just 500m from the beach on Koh Way and some wrecks lying in swimming distance from the coast. We have also pool access in the center. Beach dives can be organized from long tail boats or our fiber glass speed boats.
