Ocean Zone Divers – Phuket HQ

Our Phuket (HQ) facility is located in Chalong, just a few minutes away from the pier. Opened in 2004, Ocean Zone Divers in Chalong has become the lead technical diving facility in Thailand. We offer the full range of technical diving courses ranging from the basic nitrox course to Closed Circuit Rebreathers Mixed Gas. Though specialized in technical diving, we also offer the full range of recreational courses.

Instructor Training programs

Ocean Zone Divers runs here most of the Technical Instructor training courses (TDI/SDI, CMAS/TDA and DSAT) and the Technical Instructor Trainer training courses (CMAS/TDA).Some of our Recreational Instructor training courses are also run from this location.

The Dive Centre

Ocean Zone Divers – Phuket is a technical dive center. We stock here all the necessary gases to blend any type of mix required for technical diving, nitrox diving, trimix diving or rebreather diving. Our station is fitted with 2 compressors using continuous blending and partial pressure blending.

The Dive Gear

Ocean Zone Divers - Phuket is equipped with rental sets of technical gear. We carry steel double 15L, aluminum double S80’s, single 15L dual outlet and aluminum S80’s, S63’s and S40’s tanks for decompression. Our rebreather tanks range from 2L to 8L. All our doubles are assembled with stainless steel heavy duty bands and equipped with DIN valves and isolation manifolds.

Pier – Pool - Beach

This facility uses mostly the Chalong Pier (5min down the road) that deserves most of the famous dive sites surrounding Phuket and the pool is 50m from our office. When we need beach dives, a 5min drive leads us to Kata Beach.

Accommodation nearby

Just 50m from the dive centre, Ocean Zone Divers works with a beautiful Hotel-Resort fitted with a swimming pool and different amenities (fitness, bar and restaurant). Transfers to the beaches are organized for the guests. Nearby is a Shopping Centre, banks, SPA, etc.
