Price policy and Booking terms
Ocean Zone Divers reserves the right to alter its
prices as a result of any foreign government action,
currency fluctuations or increase in transportation
costs. If the increase is greater than 20% of the
original cost the client may cancel and obtain a full
refund, excluding the deposit paid any insurance
premiums due and less an administration fee of 50
US$.
Cancelation and Booking changes
Cancellation - If you wish to cancel your training or trip, written
notification or by email must be given to Ocean
Zone Divers by the person who signed the booking
form and will only be deemed cancelled when you
are in receipt of a response from Ocean Zone
Divers. The date of cancellation will be the date
Ocean Zone Divers receives this notice. Deposits
and insurance premiums are non-refundable. We
will only accept a cancellation 40 days prior to the
start date of scheduled training or departure of trip.
If you cancel within 40 days you are liable for the
whole amount outstanding.
Booking Changes - It is important that any special requirements are
stated on the booking form. If once the booking
form has been accepted you wish to make any
alterations to the details e.g. change of name, date,
Ocean Zone Divers will do all it can to assist you
through it under no obligation to make any
alterations. You will also be liable for an
administration fee of 55 USD and any additional
charges that may arise due to the alterations.
Force Major - Ocean Zone Divers accepts no responsibility for
and shall not be liable in respect of any loss or
damage or alterations, delays or changes arising
from unusual and unforeseeable circumstances
beyond its control, such as war, or threat of war,
riot, civil strife, industrial disputes, including air
traffic control dispute, terrorist activity, political
unrest, change in government regulations natural
and nuclear disaster, floods, fire, and adverse
weather conditions, technical problems with
transport, closure or congestion of airports or ports.
Deposits
Ocean Zone Divers will not accept any bookings
without a signed booking form and a 30% deposit
being paid. Payment will only be accepted by cash,
credit cards (surcharge of 3%), PAYPAL or direct
bank payment by wire or deposit at branch.
Final payments
The outstanding balance becomes due 30 days prior
to the agreed trip or on the day of your course start.
Training and Trip Description
It may prove necessary for Ocean Zone Divers to
amend or modify a training course or trip or its
contents due to local conditions. You agree to such
variation or modifications being made and also
agree to be bound by the decision of the
representatives appointed by Ocean Zone Divers.
Diving
Proof of diving qualifications by recognized agency is compulsory. Clients must submit their diving qualifications to the instructor or dive guide before diving or training can commence. All clients must complete a health evaluation form and if required take a diving medical. If the client has medical conditions and does not disclose them to Ocean Zone Divers this will result in termination of training and no liability will be accepted by Ocean Zone Divers.
Responsability for diving
Ocean Zone Divers has taken great care to choose
the diving sites, diving operations and tour
operators and makes every effort to ensure the
highest standards of diving etiquette and safety.
However, clients are advised that diving takes place
at their own risk and where necessary they will be
required to complete liability release forms. Divers
must behave in a fit and proper manner at all times
in accordance with all recognized diving practices
and procedures and take proper responsibility for
their own safety. Clients are advised that certain
dive sites are very remote, either by distance or
time or both, from a decompression chamber.
Ocean Zone Divers reserves the right to withdraw
any person whose actions or conduct is considered
in its absolute discretion to be incompatible with
the safety of others. All divers understand that
diving comes with risks they may harm or even
result in death and that in diving with Ocean Zone
Divers all divers diving will dive within their
current certification and should fully understand the
risks.
Diving certification
Certification on any diving course is earned by
meeting all the course standards both practical and
academic. Students are required to sign releases and
fill in medical evaluation forms and must not hide
any known problems.
Insurance
It is your responsibility to ensure that you have
adequate insurance cover for the level of diving you
are to participate in.
We also recommend that you subscribe to a travel
insurance, which can be mandatory depending on
your final destination. Every client is required to
hold a health insurance that covers accidents and
maladies and optionally loss of luggage or other.
Equipment
For all equipment hire, Ocean Zone Divers requires
a 300US$ deposit along with your passport until the
equipment is returned to us in the same state it was
provided. Any damage to the equipment will result
in loss of deposit or proportion of depending on the
extent of the damage.
Passport, Visa and Vaccinations
You are responsible for your personal travel
documents. Please inquire prior to any trip when
booking. Ocean Zone Divers will not accept any
responsibility if a client does not conform to his
obligations. If he misses his flight (invalid passport
or other) the client loses all his rights on transport
and service, no refund will be granted.
Reconfirmation
Reconfirmation of flights is no longer required by airways..
