| THE DIVE | ||
The wreck of Bluff Point lies straight
on the sand. The average condition of the boat is bad, the superstructures
are completely destroyed. The stern is very damaged, the bow seems in
a better state and its the most photogenic. The interest of this dive
is not really the wreck but the marine life on it. Multicolour alcyonairs
decorate the hull, sword fish seeking shelter between the sheets of metal,
numerous pencil sea urchins and the famous "Spanish Dancers"
during night dives. After touring the wreck, one can follow the reef down
to about 30m all covered in corals. This wreck is mainly dived as a night
dive. |
