Technical Internship Programs

Included in all our technical internships

Ocean Zone Divers from its Offshore diving background offers a Recompression chamber introduction course followed by the visit of a recompression facility. An equipment maintenance workshop and discount on dive gear purchased at our facility. All interns will have access to unlimited diving as assistants on our vessels.

If you already hold a current diving certification and the above internships do not offer your final career goal please email us for a personal internship programme and cost breakdown. Please supply your current certification level, your certifying agency and number of dives so we can assess your prerequisite status along with your certification goal.

OZD Tec I - Technical Divemaster - Internship

 Duration: 2-6 monthes |

This program is designed to teach the divemaster trainees to ropes and skills needed to successfully achieve the status of a qualified Divemaster.

OZD Tec II - Decompression Instructor - Internship

 Duration: 2-6 monthes |
 
  • Advanced Nitrox Instructor
  • Decompression Procedures Instructor
  • Extended Range Diver
  • Nitrox Gas Blender Instructor
  • Oxygen Service Technician
This program is designed to teach the divemaster trainees to ropes and skills needed to successfully achieve the status of a qualified Divemaster. In addition the candidates will learn gas blending techniques, oxygen sevice and equipment servicing.

OZD Tec III - Rebreather Instructor

Duration: 3-6 monthes |
 
  • Semi-Closed Circuit Rebreather Instructor

  • Closed Circuit Rebreather (MOD2) Instructor
  • Nitrox Gas Blender Instructor
