SDI Boat Diver Course

Course Overview

Scuba diving from boats is an everyday occurence. Whether on a private vessel or on one of the many charfter dive boats available worldwide, divers are frequently not aware of the special procedures and etiquette used when boat diving. This course is designed to introduce divers to some different types of boat diving and the skills needed to plan and conduct a boat dive with a maximum of safety.

Pre-requistes

Minimum age of 10.
Open Water diver certified.

Safety features
Boat dive planing
Boat diving etiquette
Boat terminology
Boat lines

Course duration and number of dives

The Boat Diver course is a 1 day course and 2 dives are required.

Course Price

Additional costs

Recreational Rental equipment if needed. set p/day.
Purchase of spool, SMB and wriste slate.
Candidates can choose to run this program from our Luxurious Yachts involving additional costs.

Equipment requirement

The Boat Diver course has no specific equipment requirement more than your standard recreational dive gear. We do however require that all divers carry a spool, SMB and wriste slate.
