Course Overview

The SDI Rescue Diver course is designed to develop the knowledge and necessary skills for an individual to effectively perform diver rescues, assists and administer necessary first aid. Fourty logged dives are necessary prior to certification

Pre-requistes

Minimum age of 15.
Advanced Diver certified.
First Aid and CPR certified.

Details of the course

The Rescue Diver course covers:

• Prevention and causes of diving accidents
• Diving lifesaving
• Hyperbaric injuries and management
• Accident management

Course duration and number of dives

The Rescue Diver course is a 2 day course.

Course Price

Additional costs

Recreational Rental equipment if needed. set p/day.
Purchase of spool, SMB, wriste slate and pocket mask .
Candidates can choose to run this program from our Luxurious Yachts involving additional costs.

Equipment requirement

The Rescue Diver course has no specific equipment requirement more than your standard recreational dive gear. We do however require that all divers carry a spool, SMB, wriste slate and pocket mask.
