Course Overview

This is the second entry-level certification course for instructors wishing to teach the KISS or Evolution/Inspiration closed circuit rebreather for air diving. The objective of this course is to train instructors to teach the benefits, hazards, and proper procedures for diving a Closed Circuit Rebreathers and to develop basic skills to a maximum depth of 45msw using air as a diluent for formal decompression diving.

Pre-requisites

Minimum age of 21.
Closed Circuit Rebreather Air Diluent MOD1 Instructor certified.
Closed Circuit Rebreather Air Diluent - Deco MOD2 certified.
Advanced Nitrox Instructor certified.
Decompression Procedures Instructor certified.
Proof of 250 logged dives of which 100 logged dives on the specific unit.

The Closed Circuit Rebreather MOD2 instructor course covers:

Course duration and number of dives

The Closed Circuit Rebreather MOD2 instructor course is a 3 day course and 4 dives are required.

Equipment requirement

The Closed Circuit Rebreather Instructor course has no specific equipment requirement more than your standard recreational dive gear. We supply the unit, tanks and mixes, and the oxygen analyser.
